Spring Lake Inn - Spring Lake New Jersey, Bed and Breakfasts Spring Lake NJ

The Spring Lake Inn has made a life-long commitment to environmental responsibility. Our accountability isn’t a 1-day job; it’s something that we’re dedicated to for life!

Our Inn is now a participant in the CORE (Customer On Site Energy) Program for the state of New Jersey. It’s part of the state’s Clean Energy Program and the federal initiative to reduce reliance on foreign energy sources.

We not only protect our family’s future, but we also protect the high quality hotel experience our guests expect. Whether you’re an activist or simply hope to do good in the world while doing something good for yourself, we invite you to participate in our efforts while you enjoy our boutique European-style hotel.

The following are a few of the practices that we’ve adapted, including the use of environmentally friendly products and procedures with high-impact and benefit to our planet:
  • Installation of Solar Panels on Roof
  • Recycled Paper: Property-wide printing on recycled paper
  • Towel/Linen Re-use: Guests can choose to do their part to reduce energy and detergents required for daily washings
  • Recycling: Back of house recycling of glass, bottles, paper, cardboard, etc.
  • Energy Conservation: Back of house lighting retro-fitted and audited to ensure energy efficiency.
  • Water Conservation: Implementation and audit of low flow systems for faucets, toilets and showers.
“We support a sustainable world by using non-intrusive, high quality, eco-friendly products and services at the Inn. The sunshine at the shore is a wonderful thing and it’s helping us reduce our energy needs since we are now our own power producers with the sun as our means.”
